well, i wanted to star a new rp but i hesitate between many idea, werewolf, dun may know this rpg, since he seem to know white wolf's product, or.......................... monsterized! the rp where we play as a monster! the goal?well, wander, crawl, float or whatever you want in dungeon, killing heroes and many other things like that, i let you choose which one is the most appealing between those 2....if you chose monsterized though ill give you a limit of 20 tentacle per arm, dont want to awaken the evil hentai spirit that may haunt any fan of tentacles monster, so 20 on each arm, 20 on both leg, 30 on torso and back, 15 on head, and 5 in mouths(yeah there is an "s" in mouths, i dont give you a limited number of mouth!you should be happy!)

well...to be honest i came back to this forum to participate in an rp.... now im in front of a comp everyday day, so i wont have any problem to actively participate in the story.well, i hope so, but how many ppls will participate? if we aent enough its not worth to create a game, ill explain some elements of this rp, it wont work exactly like the real game tough he storyteller will describe you location and part or the story but he/she wont make everything, like rolling dice and thing like that... the only thing i ask is that you fail your action, te more difficult it is the more likely you are to fail, its logical isnt it? ill send the stats sheet later, we wont use all of it but at least, we will know how to evaluate our chance of success in an action... AND DO NOT RELY ON IT TO CHOOSE YOUR ACTION OR YOU MAY LOSE EXP! i dont want people to be good at everything they do, like in my actual game, my character has no "performance" but still he likes to draw and to express himself through art, i always make crap but that is my character, you can be a gmabler that do not even know how to play poker... a good roleplay is rewarded with exp point dont forget, and your stats increasement is based on your action plus your exp, dont expect to raise your firearms skills if your not even using a gun for example...
after that ill make an explanation of how to choose your character personality, and such. (id like to use wildwest edition unless anyone can provide me with information on the apocalypse edition, for the ones who dont know the differnce between each edition its the time period when the story happens, apocalpse is in the futur if i remember well, as for wilwest it is durin years 1800-1900)

first you have to choose a character name, and a werewolf name, choose something that'll fit the the epoch we choose, second your werewolf name mustve something to do with the personality or a trait of your character:my character is a real strong metis called break the rocks, because he is the strongest fighte of his clan and he actually train himself be destroying boulders, but it can be something like : screaming death of the wyrm(example taken from the book)
secondly ill need to know your auspice and tribe(ill explain them in my next post)

then your race, a lupus, a metis or an homid, the lupus mean that your parenst were a werewolf and a wolf, so you're born as a wolf and until your first change you lived as a wolf, an homid means that your parents were a human and a werewolf, so youre born as a human and lived as a human till your fisrt change, as for the metis, its when youre parents were both werewolves, the metis are hated by all others garou, becaue of the sin their parents commited by mating together, GAROU SHALL NOT MATE WITH GAROUS!the metis are born as a werewolf in its crinos form(ill explain the forms later) and all have some kind of difformity, and no difformities hav an advantage everything has a disavantage, metis are real hard to play and if you choose to make one, you'll have to find a good reason about why the pack accepted you in their rank.

and finally youll have to choose a totem, bu i may have t choose one for you to avoid arguing over and over on the one the pack will choose, it may be the totem of your leader that'll be chosen

so everyone who want to join create yourself a charactr as soon as i send the stats sheet

I would like to point out that the Metis are sterile (and are sometimes refered to as "Mules"), hence why werewolves aren't allowed to mate with each other. The only sept immune this rule is the Black Spiral Dancers, but they are evil and insane so they don't count. Keep in mind when playing werewolves that, unless you are a Metis, only one in six werewolf progeny are born with the werewolf "gene" and it may remain inactive for several generations. Werewolves often don't change for the first time until they reach adulthood.

Werewolves can move back and forth between five forms: Homid, Glabro, Crinos, Hispo, and Lupus. Changing into anything other than your default form risks you flying into a rage. Homid is your normal human form, Glabro is a muscular wolf-man form, Crinos is the massive (and 50% taller) anthropomorphic wolf form, Hispo is a powerful direwolf, and Lupus is your normal wolf form. My book also contains roleplaying tips for each form. Werewolves are capable of speaking to each regardless of current form thanks to the apparently in-born knowledge of the Garou language.

Also, The Apocalypse is set in modern times, not the future.

thanks for expalining this so i wont have to, as for the garou shall not mate with garou, its because of the werewolves littany, it contains all of their laws and such like no human flesh eatin, accept an honorable resiliation or thing lke that...if you want we can play as a black spiral dancer but thrust me its the hardest of all character to play since theyre insane, i ll get the book where they explain every king of madness they may have, like paranoia, always screaming out loud or many other thing that show no sanity at all....

Anyway, I already have an idea for a wild west character, coyo. She's an apprentice to a mad scientist/machinist. She used to be his pet dog who would try to help him with his inventions and when she discovered she was a werewolf she went to him in human form and convinced him to take her in as an apprentice. You're not ruling out Bone Gnawers or Glass Walkers, are you?

My other idea is a Bone Gnawer masquerading as a White Howler or Silver Fang and trying to be all mysterious and superheroic, coyo.

well, the glass walker and the white howler do not exist yet in the wildwest edition, me i was thinking about being something like an homid, galliard, from the iron riders ( a tribute to John Mclennon A.K.A walk with tomorrow ) but i wont be as crazy as he was...he had dynamite in every pocket of his clothes, and an explosive hat, i really liked this character. ill have a fetish vulture feather that allow me to draw on a dry surface without using any kind of ink(it is possessed by a spirit of the weaver)
for those whod like to know there is 3 force that rules the world, the 3W
the wild: a spirit that is sleeping it's dream comes to life and trust me, anything can apperas beside it, even a pink rabbit with apple pie as ears, it can compared to the chaos, in a certain way pf thinking
the weaver: this high spirit use the creation of the wild and materialize them in our world, by turning them into something that seems logical for our reality
as for the wyrm: it is the destroyer of everything the weaver create when something seems out of date it will destroy

those 3 were acting together in the pas but somehow they are all working separetely now, the wild is still sleeping and unaware of what is happening tin the world, the weaver create thing that are not necesserely for our good, as for the wyrm it turn anything into monstrosity and destroy what it can whereve he pass...

Hm... Well, according to my book, the Glass Walkers weren't always called the Glass Walkers, but doesn't mention what they used to be called. They are mostly homid and live in the cities among the middle and upper classes. It doesn't mention the Iron Riders, coyo. Not even in the section about extinct tribes. Their totem wouldn't happen to be a cockroach by any chance?

What tribes are in your RPG? My book lists (to my memory) Glass Walkers, Bone Gnawers (also city wolves, but live among the homeless), Black Furies (mostly women, like amazons), Fianna (distinctly Irish), Get of Fenris (like Vikings or Klingons), Children of Gaia (as hippy as werewolves get), Silent Striders (wanderers), Stargazers (philosophers), Shadow Lords (diabolical masterminds who seek to rule all others), Silver Fangs (nobles, but inbred), Uktena (native american), Wendigo (native americans still seeking to drive out the european invaders), the Red Talons (all wolf, believes human kind must be exterminated), Black Spiral Dancers (insane, deformed, and followers of the Wyrm), Bunyip (australian, now extinct), White Howlers (went in against the Wyrm, came out Black Spiral Dancers, technically extinct), and one other that I can't remember but doesn't matter since they're extinct also. I may have forgotten one or two, coyo. What do you have, coyo?

Now, if I'm not mistaken, the Wyld is like chaos, Weaver is order, and Wyrm used to be the equalizing force but went insane and now represents corruption.

all of them exist in my edition but i think they have an other name for the bunyips, as for the tribe in my actual game, we have 1 get of fenris(me, my "sister" was one but she got killed by the rat,our totem)we had one iron rider(Mclennon, may your soul rest in peace) we have 2 red talon, our ex leader was a bone gnawer, we have one fianna, one children of gaia, one silent straider, one black fury(i like her werewolf name:aim the groin), and i cant remember the tribe of maev A.K.A silent skirt(dont ask the origin of the name ok!)
and every tribes will be accepted in the rp, we will find reason of our group being together, now i just have to get my hands back on my friend's book, i forgot to ask him to lend it to me last time i saw him, ill try to get it next time
and what do you mean by:
White Howlers (went in against the Wyrm, came out Black Spiral Dancers, technically extinct)
